When art is your passion, when you are inseparable from it, creating is like breathing. You do it without waiting for reasons. You do it because everything you see can be a painting. Or sculpture, or dance. But if you do not act on the visions they remain in the mind of that artist. No one else knows the loss. But the artist knows. And I am one of the artists that works endlessly to make the things I see as art become art and not be lost. There is no waiting for inspiration. No waiting for ideas. There is only the reality that I want to make art. But when is this not feasible? What if the art isn't selling? There is no reason I would choose to stop creating just as I wouldn't choose to stop breathing. There are physical conditions that can stop an artist just as these conditions can stop the breath of life. It is the choice an artist makes . They go on strong regardless. A deep passion drives the artist to make the inner vision come to life. For me it brings bliss. But the other part of the creating process is seeing others enjoy your art. It isn't about selling. It isn't about winning competitions, or having a solo show at a major gallery. It is simply that creating is your life. It is your breath and your bliss.
